Make your web copy more than words

Published by alexis on September 12, 2008 under Copywriting, General, SEO

As you go through the process of planning, designing, and redesigning your website, ask yourself this very essential question: What do you want it to do for you? If your answer is to merely give you presence online, then any website will work. But if you want it to effectively communicate your unique talents and the value you provide customers, then you’ll want to invest in your copy.

Good design expresses personality, reinforces brands, and even provides structure to sites. Now, what about good copy? It can literally explain the features and benefits of your product, the awards you’ve won for your service, and so much more. However, if it doesn’t make sense to readers or contains a bunch of errors, your website could do you more harm than good. With Dogpaw’s professional copywriting services, this is something you won’t have to worry about. Your copy will not only be clear and engaging, but also incorporate marketing language sure to resonate with visitors.

As we develop the copy, we can also research and integrate keywords. SEO copy increases your site’s chances of ranking higher on search engines, targeting your business to the people most likely to support it. Our blog software (WordPress): updated and secure

Published by Chijo on September 10, 2008 under Blogging, Security, WordPress

I’m happy (and relieved) to announce that we’ve updated our blog software, WordPress, to the most secure and stable version: 2.6.2. This new version was just released on September 8, 2008, so there wasn’t too much procrastination on my part.

The update is strongly recommended for all WordPress blog users because keeping up with security is the smart thing to do. We all want to keep those malicious hackers away.

Happy blogging.
